Description
These beautiful little quilts were made for me by my dear friend Ruth Eglinton, and she wrote the pattern awhile ago, and it has been really popular ever since. The two little quilts are each variations of log cabin, and Ruth has combined lovely Liberty Tana Lawn fabrics with Bella Pure white solid cotton from Moda. I love to see one of these on my dining room table, which is oak, and sit a big vase of gorgeous Summer flowers from the garden, that makes me very happy.
You could easily make the quilts bigger by making more blocks, or adapt the design to make a cushion cover or wall hanging.
The quilts are very simple and easy to make, and the pattern gives you very clear direction and lots of easy to understand diagrams. Ruth has finished the quilts with simple machine quilting, and a narrow french binding.
