Shopping Assistant
Our shopping assistant can help you to find what you're looking for.
It can search our store, cointaining about  two thousand products, based on your requirements.
BUT - it isn't perfect, and it needs you to  use it carefully. So please take a moment the first time,
to read the instructions - it's an investment which will  pay back very quickly.

1. You can use this box to tell us what kind of thing you are searching for by selecting it from the list.
For example, select BOOK if you're looking for books.

Don't use the Keywords box  to specify a product type, as it won't work.		 2. You can use this box if you have a colour preference
by selecting it from the list. For example, select RED is you want red farbics. To widen your search, set it to SHOW ALL.

 3. You can use this box if you have a pattern preference
when looking for fabrics, by selecting it from the list. For example, select STRIPES to find stripey fabrics. To widen your search, set it to SHOW ALL.

4. You can use the keywords box to specify words you're interested in, like TEDDY or  SANTA or ROSE or DEBBIE MUMM,
but use as few words as you can, and do not try to use this box to specify colours or pattern tor products types.
Entering "GREEN STRIPES will not work  - but selecting GREEN from the colour box, and STRIPES form the pattern box will!

Our assistant can show you exactly what you're looking for if you ask it nicely!

First, decide what kind of product you're looking for. Select it from the PRODUCT TYPE box.
Let's say you're interested in searching our huge fabrics collection - select FABRIC YARDAGE.

If you're interested in a particular pattern type or colour theme, then select them from those boxes too.
Let's say you chose PINK and FLORAL.

Finally, if you want to narrow your search even further, type in a keyword which describes what you're interested in
Let's say you want roses. Type ROSE.

The Shopping assistant will now trot off and return you a list of all the fabrics which matched your selection!

Here are more hints to get the best from our new employee.

1. Be careful with your spelling - SEASUCKER and CELETIAL are not going to find you anything.

2. We don't currently list the manufacturer in our products database - so looking for MODA won't find anything either.

3. Use the PATTERN box to select your pattern. If you type PLAIN in the keyword box, you will not find what you are looking for.

4. Chop your keywords as short as you dare.
For example, to find find teddy bears, enter TEDD - which will find TEDDIES and TEDDY, and TEDDYBEARS.
faSimilarly, use singulars - not plurals (ROSE - not ROSES)

The broader your search, the longer it will take to build the swatches page. A very large page might take up to three minutes to build.
