At the Barns Hotel, Cardington Road, Bedford, MK44 3SA February 20th 2009 to Sunday, February 22nd, 2009 The cost is £325.00 for the weekend, or £300 if you share a twin room with a friend. The deposit is payable on booking at £125, with the balance due 1 month before the retreat This is a lovely weekend for those of you who just love fabric. I will be bringing a vast scrap box for you to dip into, and we will cover many traditional and simple blocks such as log cabin, 4 – patch, saw-tooth star, square in a square and many others; you could combine them into one quilt or make several small pieces. Sunflower Fabrics will be on hand for shopping, and we will give you 10 percent off any goodies you might like to buy over the course of the weekend. The rooms are all en-suite and either double or twin, and the hotel is very comfy and pleasant with the additional benefit of an excellent chef and wonderfully cheerful and obliging staff.
