BALI BEAUTY 

Please feel free to print this pattern and make a yummy little quilt!

This little quilt can be made up in a jiffy by following these simple instructions.
Finished Quilt size: 38½” square. 

You will need: 
10 Bali fat 8ths (a Bali Paintbox pack is ideal)
1m black fabric
Backing and wadding 42" x 42"
Machine embroidery threads for quilting

Cutting:
Cut 54 x 4½” squares from the Bali prints
Cut 54 x 4½” squares from the black fabric.

Take 36 black and 36 Bali squares and cut once diagonally to make a total of 144 setting triangles.
The black centre squares are matched with 4 Bali setting triangles of the same fabric and the Bali centre squares are matched with black setting triangles. The blocks are arranged in alternately, black then Bali.

Take one centre square and four matching setting triangles. First, take two setting triangles and sew one each to opposite sides of the centre square using a ¼” seam allowance. 
Press the seams away from the centre. Trim the edges flush with the centre square edges.
Take the other two setting triangles and sew one to each side.
Press the seams away from the centre. Trim the edges flush.
Make a total of 36 blocks in this way

Lay the blocks out on 6 rows of 6 blocks, alternating the colours. Stitch the blocks together and press the seam allowances in opposite directions for each row . Stitch the rows together to form the quilt top.
Layer with wadding and backing and machine quilt using embroidery threads in vibrant contrasting colours. Have Fun!
