I forgot
my customer ID!
Just contact us. Your
computer can be told to remember your ID for you. From the BASKET page, click
GO TO CHECKOUT, and in that page, tick the REMEMBER MY ID box. Click here
for more.
Why doesn't
my Customer ID work?
If you remember your ID correctly, then rejections are usually because
you did not enter your code in UPPER CASE, or else you put a space within the
code. You may also have confused the letter O with the digit zero. If neither
of these apply, please contact us.
Why didn't
you acknowledge my order?
Orders are acknowledged automatically within a few hours. If you do
not receive an acknowledgement, it will be because we did not receive your order,
or else our response failed to reach you. Please contact us here
to sort out the problem.
Do you
sell this fabric ?
Please use the Fabric Finder to search our web site for what you're
looking for. If it isn't on the web site, we don't sell it.
Do you
publish a catalogue ?
Our
web site is our catalogue! We don't have to print it
or post it out, and we can update the products at the touch of a button, so it
does not get out of date like a normal catalogue.
Do you
supply samples ?
No. Our scanned images and photographs are so good, it's not
necessary.We recommend that you buy a fabric pack
or a fat quarter of any fabrics you are interested in, if you're not sure.
Why
has my order not been delivered yet?
Please contact us.
Sometimes we are given email addresses that don't work,
and without a phone number communication may be delayed.
What is
a fat quarter/fat eighth?
Most fabrics are supplied on a roll or "bolt" which is about
112cm wide. The normal way to cut a quarter would be to unroll 25cm and cut
the strip off, but quilters prefer to have "squarer" fabric piece
and so instead, we pull off 50cm and cut it. Then we take the piece and cut
it in half width-wise - making two quarter metres which are "fatter"
- hence the name. So a fat quarter is 50cm x 55cm. A fat eighth is a fat quarter
cut in half along it’s shortest side, so it is about 50 x 23cm.
