Foundation piecing is a truly satisfying technique which results in perfect accuracy and precision. We will start with the beautiful and traditional pineapple block, and once you’ve got the hang of the technique and made a couple of blocks, you will be able to branch out into all sorts of intricate and maybe miniature designs. Many foundation blocks are pictorial, such as bird housed, flowers, houses and fun motifs., and any traditional blocks lend themselves to the perfection of foundation piecing.
Sunflower Fabrics will be on hand for shopping, and we will give you 10 percent off any goodies you might like to buy over the course of the weekend.
The rooms are all en-suite and either double or twin, and the hotel is very comfy and pleasant with the additional benefit of an excellent chef and wonderfully cheerful and obliging staff. Why not treat yourself to a weekend of pure relaxation and pleasure, hand stitching in excellent company?

This is a lovely weekend for those of you who just love fabric. I will be bringing a vast scrap box for you to dip into, and we will cover many traditional and simple blocks such as log cabin, 4 – patch, saw-tooth star, square in a square and many others; you could combine them into one quilt or make several small pieces.
Sunflower Fabrics will be on hand for shopping, and we will give you 10 percent off any goodies you might like to buy over the course of the weekend.
